The Scrappy Grammy
The Scrappy Grammy is a Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) survivor in addition to being a grandmother to twelve beautiful grandchildren. She has personally curated gift box items crafted to bring comfort to the chemotherapy or radiation patient. These unique gift boxes come in three sizes with items specifically designed for patients who have long appointments.
The "Fighter", the "Warrior", and the "Gladiator" Boxes include items crafted for those recovering or going through treatments.
The Scrappy Grammy will donate a portion of The Fighter Box Sales to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of my friend, Janet, who is still couragously fighting breast cancer.
A portion of The Warrior Box sales will be donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of my friend, Kim, who lost her mother at a very young age to cancer.
The Scrappy Grammy will donate a portion of The Gladiator Box sales to the "Terry's Wings" team at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan) for my friend, Devona. She has devoted countless hours to her quest to help find a cure for Pancreatic Cancer after she lost her brother in law, Terry, to this horrific disease.
In addition, "The Neverending Boob Job", a book documenting her own journey with cancer, is included in each box which can be purchased separately. This cancer journey book chronicles the experiences of the Scrappy Grammy’s journey with being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TBNC). It includes personal reflections, medical details, and the emotional and psychological challenges she faced. The book starts with the how the diagnosis came about, delving into the initial shock and the process of coming to terms with the illness. It then follows her path through various treatments, such as surgery, chemotherapy, and reconstruction, capturing the physical toll and side effects. The narrative highlights the support system of family, friends, and healthcare professionals, illustrating moments of hope and despair. This book is unique in that there is also several paragraphs in outlined sections from her spouse, highlighting his perspective as a Co-Survivor. Interspersed with the medical journey, there are often anecdotes about the author's life, providing a fuller picture of who they are beyond their illness. The book concludes with reflections on the journey. Ultimately, the book aims to inspire, educate, and provide comfort to readers, whether they are patients, caregivers, or anyone impacted by cancer.

During her journey, a co-worker shared the story of his grandson, who was 5 years old and undergoing chemotherapy at the same time. He was and still is an inspiration. Portions of the proceeds from the sales of this book will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Kohlton's honor.
